For several years, we have been organizing the environmental competitions “Active Region” and “Active Municipality”, which recognize the efforts of municipalities and regions in the collection of e-waste, public awareness campaigns, and citizen education in the field of electrical waste management.
Winners of the “Active Region” category received a special contribution of CZK 200,000 from our collective scheme ASEKOL to support educational and awareness activities. The “Active Municipality” was awarded CZK 150,000.
These competitions help boost public motivation to sort waste, which has led to a noticeable increase in the volume of separately collected e-waste.
