ASEKOL educational video on the sorting and recycling of e-waste

The ASEKOL compliance scheme, which has been collecting and recycling electrical equipment and batteries for many years now, presents a new educational video. The aim is to raise public awareness of the importance of properly sorting and recycling our e-waste and show how each of us can easily play a part in helping to protect the environment.

The video shows, in an engaging and understandable way, the journey an old electrical appliance takes from the moment it is placed in the red ASEKOL container until it is recycled in an environmentally-friendly manner.

"Our aim is to motivate people to dispose of their e-waste responsibly. By proper sorting our WEEE we not only protect the environment, but also the health of each and every one of us," explains Daniel Šafář, ASEKOL Sales Director.

The new awareness-raising video is available for free at www.asekol.cz. It will also be used in environmental education programmes for schools and municipalities.
